How to Install & Use

Installation

1. Download & Install

  • →Download the correct version for your Mac
  • →Open the DMG file
  • →Drag the Interview Coder app to your Applications folder

2. First-Time Setup

You might see security warnings because the app isn't signed with an Apple developer certificate.

Method 1: Using Finder

  • •Go to your Applications folder
  • •Right-click (or Control-click) on "Interview Coder"
  • •Select "Open" from the menu
  • •Click "Open" when prompted with the security warning

Method 2: Using Terminal

If the app still won't open, run this command in Terminal:

xattr -cr /Applications/Interview\ Coder.app

Permissions & Setup

The app needs screen recording permission to function:

  • 1.Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording
  • 2.Make sure "Interview Coder" is in the list and has permission
  • 3.Restart the app after granting permission

If you encounter any issues, try completely restarting your Mac, as this can resolve permission-related problems.
